Taste is the ability to determine flavor of substances like food, drug, etc. The aspect taste only occurs when drug get soluble in saliva. Firstly gets dispersible saliva then they show interaction with bud and perception occurred. above test receptor binds molecules generates electrical impulses from area brain that cranial nerves 7th ,9th 10th occurs. Currently varieties drugs are available cardiac, analgesic, anti-inflammatory, opioid anti-epileptic, anticoagulant, oral vaccine sex hormone. Due bitter formulation it tends patient complain problem unpleasant pediatrics geriatric provocation pharmacist current scenario .Bitter masking become important solve complain. This most issue regards pharmaceutical therapies. broadly classify into physical, chemical, biochemical organoleptic methods. There different types method mask drug. physical involves use sweeteners enhancers. chemical Ion exchange resin, solid dispersions, spray drying, Inclusion complex, Microencapsulation, coating. Prodrug, Hot melt extrusion. abundantly used coating, hot-melt extrusion,
